Hi,
My first post here.
I tried to post in the introductions section but I couldn't. I hope you don't mind me posting here.
I have a Swiss import xt600z 1vk Tenere, bow 200 serial number.
Was this bike restricted in power for the Swiss Market? If so, how do I de - restrict it?
Regards,
Jolyon

Hi Jolyon
I'm not sure about the XT 600 1VK from switzerland and its restrictions. Most of the models in switzerland and austria had 500ccm instead of 600.
But the 600er Tenere 1VK is the same than the XT 600 1VJ from germany.
If there is some power missing than check out the carburetor and its main jets. Most of the rstrictions can be found there.
The secondary transmissiopn (= chainwheels) is not that important.
There could also be found a smaller diameter in the intake manifold, the two rubber parfts between the engine and the carburetor.
Finally there could be a smaller diameter in the outtake, between the exhaust and the engine.
Good luck.
