Hallo!
Leider ist meine deutsch noch sehr schlecht!!

Weissen jemand die richtige drehmoment fur meine zylinderkopfschrauben?

Du kannst auch auf englisch schreiben ...

1) welches Modell?
2) welche Schrauben - die vom Zylinderkopf (cylinder head) oder vom Zylinderkopfdeckel (top of the rockerbox)

Thanks, It's a 2KF engine that's going into my 1VJ Tenere.
It's bored to 97,5mm ATHENA (Wössner) piston with a [link:www.kedo.de?f_support=www.xt600.de|KEDO] step 2 camshaft and a mildly ported head. I also have a new big-bore headgasket from [link:www.kedo.de?f_support=www.xt600.de|KEDO]. I have not increased the compression ratio except the increase I got with the larger volume.

I mean the four M8 bolts and the two upside down pin-bolts attached to the head nuts.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm after (29NM)!

I have posted some pictures of the work here. Unfortunately It's in swedish so you will probably not understand much but the pictures shows the idea.

Hello B

I am not into tuning, but I have a few tips regarding assembly ...

1) for valves and the cylinder oil line, better use original Yamaha gaskets. There have been problems with aftermarket parts going bad after a short time.

2) use MOS2 lube (Molykote or the like) on the cams to avoid damage in the first minutes of the newly made motor running

3) make sure that the oil pump is filled with oil before starting. You can fill it after taking off the oil tube going into the motor behind the driving chain, using a syringe or an old gear box oil bottle. It also helps to put 0,5 litres of motor oil into the motor (valve adjustment opening) to feed the secondary pump straight away.

Thanks a lot. I will follow your oil pump advice. Regarding the head gasket, I don't think there is a Yamaha original gasket for a big-bore dimension??
This gasket is for a cylinder diameter up to 99,00mm. Mine have like I wrote 97,50mm. So that's the problem.

I am writing about

not the head gasket. The cylinder oil line has a seperate little cylindric rubber gasket (INSIDE the head gasket).

Oh, I see!
You mean the rubber seal for the oil line connectors. Actually I plan to reuse my old ones. They seem to be in perfect shape to me.
